About
An AI Wildlife Documentary Project, Made Honestly
An AI wildlife documentary project that says what it is on every page: the stories are fiction, the species and the places are real, and every fact carries its source.
What this is
Wildlife Stories AI creates fictional wildlife rescue and survival stories using generative AI. The stories are not presented as real rescue footage. They are inspired by real species, real habitats and real conservation challenges, and are designed to encourage respect for the wild.
Each episode follows one named animal through one story: a fall, a fire, a road, a winter, a first flight. The animal and everything that happens to it are invented. The species it belongs to, the territory it lives in, its conservation status, its threats and the organisations named are real, and they are described from named sources, not from the story.
The images and the voice are generated with AI under human editorial direction. No animal was handled or disturbed to make any of these stories, and none of them is presented as a record of something that happened.
The website exists so that each story comes with its facts. A species page has two halves that never mix: the story, clearly marked as fiction, and the species facts, each with a numbered source and the date it was checked. If a fact cannot be closed against a source, it is not stated.
Who makes it
Dani Collada runs Wildlife Stories AI: fictional survival and rescue stories about real species in real places, made with AI and checked against named sources. The channel has 144 subscribers on YouTube.
Where to start
New here? Start with the mammals: the Cantabrian brown bear is the first species page, and more follow as the channel's episodes are checked and written up.
